Eclipse Soundtrack

The Twilight folk just recently let listeners listen to their soundtrack. You can listen to the album in all its glory here.

Now I’m not one to associate myself with anything that has to do with Twilight, nor did I ever think that I would post something about this film or even watch it but man, this is one solid soundtrack. Pretty much new material from all of the bands for the film, which sure, I’m pretty excited for new material from bands like Vampire Weekend, Metric, Muse, The Black Keys and Battles. Yo, they pulled Battles for this record. DUDE BATTLES. But this feels like some stupid marketing ploy to get us indie kids to care about the film. It’s pretty annoying.

But anyway, I think this soundtrack is worth a listen. It’s pretty legit.

YO THEY GOT NEW BATTLES.

Broken Social Scene - Forgiveness Rock Record

Now that Forgiveness Rock Record is out, I mostly looking forward to picking up the new National, Crystal Castles, Holy Fuck, and Flying Lotus albums and much more.  I’ve said it a trillion times already, but truly, this is an amazing year for music releases.

I took a picture with Lisa Lobsinger of Broken Social Scene fame. Lovely! :D
Went down to the Sonic Boom record store in downtown Toronto last night to catch the fourth and final Broken Social Scene instore gig. It was great. Lisa Lobsinger was a such sweet, sweet person.
The new album, Forgiveness Rock Record is great and you should listen to it.

Cubicle Training for Kids!

You know, I definitely wanted to work in an office cubicle when I was a kid…

This thing is actually a full working computer, for kids! Gizmodo totally lists specs for the thing. And they’re pretty much right, this thing is actually really depressing.
